Hopkins County Hospitals are the Regional Medical Center and Trover Clinic. Trover Clinic and the Regional Medical Center have work in conjunction for over 50 years to provide highly advanced health care to western Kentucky and beyond. The Regional Medical Center was originally named Hopkins County Hospital in the 1930’s.

The Regional Medical Center serves approximately 258,000 people residing in a 12-county area in western Kentucky. In addition to some of the highlighted services, the hospital also provides a wide range of medical, surgical, education, diagnosis and related services including: open heart, thoracic, and vascular surgeries; the neonatal intensive care unit; the Diabetes Center; drug and alcohol treatment; the Wound Care Center; an in-house Lithotripter used on patients suffering from kidney stones; renal dialysis services; and more.

The Trover Clinic opened its doors on July 1, 1953. Today, over 100 primary care and specialist physicians provide virtually all modern medical specialties and provide specialty practices in five of the six basic clinical divisions which are medicine, surgery, family practice, pediatrics and OB/GYN, and Psychiatry. Walk-in Care Centers in Madisonville and Hopkinsville offer extended hours in the evenings and on weekends.
